As Bill Maher would say, "NEW RULE!"

I'm fed up with polls taken by news organization that ask the American public to give a favorable/unfavorable rating of Congress. According to recent studies, less than 1 in 4 Americans could name their U.S. Representative. This means that 75% of the people who rate Congress in these polls DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE THEY ARE "RATING!"

So new rule: if you cannot name your U.S. Representative AND your 2 U.S. Senators, you may not partake in a poll that asks you to give an opinion about the performance of Congress.

Sound fair?

I'd also like to apply the same rule to voting.
